Comme des Garçons announced the launch of a new Converse x PLAY Comme des Garçons Chuck 70.

Reimagining the first Converse x PLAY Comme des Garçons design, the sneaker features a red midsole and foxing with a contrasting pinstripe and is rendered in both black and white premium canvas stamped with the instantly recognizable heart-and-eyes logo.

With the partnership of Comme des Garçons’s co-creative directors Karl Bolander and Ronnie Cooke Newhouse, and legendary fashion photographer Craig McDean, this new style is captured against a sleek red backdrop, stacked atop each other in a variety of playful still life arrangements. Shot using a digital processing technique called Focus Stacking, the striking series of photos offers a fresh new perspective.

The new Converse x PLAY Comme des Garçons Chuck 70 are available in hi and lo executions , at Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market stores globally (excluding Japan), followed by select retailers. The collection will also be available online doverstreetmarket.com and converse.com for 140€.
