Leonard Baby Brings Vive Le Baby! to Paris Art Week
Opening during Paris Art Week this October, New York-based artist Leonard Baby presents Vive Le Baby!, a new exhibition of paintings with Half Gallery at Hotel Grand Amour in Paris.
Exploring pleasure, anxiety and the desire to escape, Baby captures a world of parties, lovers, nightlife and conspicuous consumption, where glamour and unease exist side by side. Through a distinctly queer perspective, his paintings transform fragments of film, photography and popular culture into intimate scenes reflecting the contradictions of contemporary life.
Following Resting Babyface at Villa Carlotta in Los Angeles earlier this year, Vive Le Baby! shifts the narrative from private retreat to public indulgence. The exhibition will also feature in an upcoming documentary about the artist, scheduled for release in 2027.
Dates: October 21–24, 2026
Opening hours: Saturday, October 24, 12–4 PM and by appointment
Location: Hotel Grand Amour, 18 Rue de la Fidélité, 75010 Paris, France
